It’s Christmas Eve and everyone in the village is snuggled up at home. Nobody notices the lonely little deer left outside in the cold...

While playing alone in the snow, Carw longs for warmth and kindness. Suddenly, a shimmering little light appears! Although he hasn’t ventured far from his village before, Carw follows the little light on a magical adventure through the forest where he finds the love and strength within.

Written and performed by Casi Wyn (Children’s Laureate of Wales 2022-23), this enchanting new show will bring magic, music and dance to young audiences across Wales this winter.

A co-production from Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru and National Dance Company Wales.

The Welsh language pantomime crew of Dyffryn Aeron, face challenges like every other area - but the dark suited, self-serving Mr Ŵr and his assistants create trouble every year as they try undermine the vibrancy of the community.

But they are likely to meet their match, when they come across a unique Welsh woman: a teacher, poet, editor, master-mariner and temperance campaigner, called Cranogwen.

Come and enjoy the unique experience that is the Welsh language pantomime at Theatr Felinfach.

Assistance for new Welsh speakers and learners will be available.
